European courier service
Dedicated vans and lorries, or cost-effective groupage — across the whole of Europe.
We offer a complete European courier service. Whether you need a dedicated delivery by van or lorry, or a more cost-effective groupage service where your consignment shares space with others, we can move it.
We can provide any vehicle to get your goods to the location of your choice, and we cover the whole of Europe — from France to Switzerland and beyond. Every consignment is planned around what it actually needs rather than forced into a fixed service.
Dedicated or groupage — which you need
A dedicated European delivery means your goods travel alone. The vehicle collects from you and drives to the delivery address without picking anything else up on the way. It is the fastest option and the right one for anything urgent, fragile or high-value, because the load is never handled or transhipped.
Groupage means your consignment shares a vehicle with other loads going the same way. It costs considerably less, and it suits goods where a day either side of the schedule is not critical. If you are unsure which fits, tell us the deadline and the contents and we will tell you honestly which one to book.
Post-Brexit: what to actually expect
European deliveries take longer than they did before the UK left the EU, and any courier telling you otherwise is quoting a service that no longer exists. Before 2021 a next-day European delivery was close to a guarantee — collect in the UK in the afternoon, deliver the following morning.
There are now several more procedures to clear, and the reality is not as smooth as it once was. What we will promise is that your goods move as soon as it is possible to move them, and that you will know where they are throughout.
If your consignment has to be there on a specific day, tell our team when you book. That is the single most useful thing you can do — it lets us start the paperwork early and plan the run backwards from your deadline rather than forwards from collection.
Where we deliver
We deliver to cities and towns across Europe and tailor the approach to each consignment. The eight countries below are the routes we run most — Ireland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain and Italy — and each has its own page covering cities, typical transit times and paperwork. If your destination is not among them, the question is rarely whether we can reach it — it is which vehicle and which service makes sense.
Collections run from our Northamptonshire base and nationwide across the UK, so a European job can start anywhere in the country.
Tracking and keeping you informed
Our tracking system lets us keep you updated at every stage. Our office team check the progress of vehicles through the day and come back to you when there is something worth telling you — not only when you chase.
The key to good service on a long European run is communication. A driver held at a border is not a problem if you know about it early enough to tell your customer; it is a serious problem if you find out on the delivery date.
Vehicles and reliability
Thorough vehicle checks, regular maintenance schedules and tracking on every vehicle are what let us commit to a delivery schedule — particularly a deadline-sensitive one, where a breakdown in mainland Europe is expensive to recover from.
Whatever the challenge, our office team and drivers work 24/7. Whether it is a European delivery, same-day, multi-drop or fragile goods, the service is dedicated to your consignment.
