The Logistics Expert Group Limited, Northamptonshire
TLX Group is the trading name of The Logistics Expert Group Limited, a same-day courier and dedicated logistics company based at The Gloucesters, Strixton Manor Business Centre, near Wellingborough in Northamptonshire.
We move consignments on dedicated vehicles: one vehicle, one driver, direct from collection to delivery. Nothing enters a parcel network, nothing is sorted at a hub overnight, and nothing is split across vehicles.
Where we are, and why it matters
Northamptonshire is the densest distribution region in the country, and we are in the middle of it. The A45 runs past us west to the M1 and east to the A14; M1 Junction 15 serves both Wellingborough and Northampton; and DIRFT, one of the UK’s largest rail freight terminals, is a short run up the A428 at Junction 18.
That position is the reason we can reach most of England and Wales within a working day, and why our fastest collections are across Northamptonshire itself.
What we run
Nine vehicle sizes, from a small van carrying one pallet and 350kg up to an articulated lorry carrying 26 pallets and 24,000kg. The vehicle is matched to the consignment rather than the other way round, so you are not paying for space you do not need.
Chilled and ambient temperature-controlled work runs on a vetted carrier with the right vehicle, sourced through our carrier network and managed by us from booking through to proof of delivery.

Accreditation and insurance
We are members of the British International Freight Association. All work is carried under BIFA Standard Trading Conditions (2025 edition), and we carry goods-in-transit and public liability cover as standard.
Every vehicle is GPS-tracked and every job ends with proof of delivery.
How we work
One company takes the booking, plans the job and answers for it through to delivery — wherever in the country it runs. You deal with the same office on the same account, and somebody answers the phone at three in the morning as readily as at three in the afternoon.
We would rather tell you a job is not achievable than take the booking and disappoint you. If a timing is not realistic, we say so before you commit.
