Manufacturing and Automotive Courier Services
When a line stops, transport is the cheapest part of the problem
A stopped production line is costing money every minute it is stopped, and the missing component is almost never the expensive part of that equation. What matters is how fast it can be in the hands of the person waiting for it.
We are based in Northamptonshire, in the middle of the country’s manufacturing and distribution belt — Cummins in Wellingborough and Daventry, the automotive corridor up the M1 and M6, and the DIRFT freight terminal at Junction 18.

What we carry
- Line-stop and production-critical components
- Tooling, jigs, fixtures and dies
- Just-in-time parts between plants and suppliers
- Prototype and pre-production parts
- Quality-control samples and first-off inspections
- Machine spares and maintenance parts
Just-in-time works until it does not
JIT manufacturing runs deliberately without buffer stock, which makes it efficient and fragile in the same breath. When a delivery slips, there is nothing behind it to absorb the gap.
That is the gap a dedicated vehicle fills: collected within the hour where possible, driven direct with no depot transfers, so the part is not sitting in a hub overnight while a line stands idle.
Good to know.
