What Our Customer Needed
A customer of ours had a crucial requirement which involved the transportation of fragile palletised goods and a very strict time frame. Due to the nature of this job, the operations team had to appoint a very dependable driver to ensure the consignments arrived in flawless condition and the whole operation ran productively and efficiently.
After the confirmation from the customer, the driver collected the goods and made his way to the delivery point. While only a few miles away from the driver’s destination we receive an urgent call from the customer to confirm our driver has been loaded with the wrong goods and needs to return immediately.
Our Solution
Through the use of productive communication, our operations team was able to effectively liaise with customer to find an immediate solution. Over a short space of time, the next driver arrived promptly at collection point ready to be loaded and complete the crucial delivery just in the nick of time.
Successful Outcome
With the delivery window steadily closing, the driver had to swiftly deliver the goods as quick as possible to ensure the operation was successfully complete. Our trustworthy driver then made it to the delivery point with no time to waste and the goods were received in perfect condition.
