What Our Customer Needed
With clients all over Europe, our customer was in need to bring some consignments back from France. Through a trusted relationship and frequent work together, the customer was in contact straight away with their requirements.
The operations team were hard at work and customs documents were being prepared in the meantime to ensure everything ran smoothly. Confirmation to book the job was given and the driver was on his way to the collection point in France. After crossing the border swiftly, the vehicle unfortunately broke down on the morning of collection.
Our Solution
With very limited time to find another replacement, the operations team was on the search for a driver in France. Collection time was edging closer and closer, and availability was extremely tight with various other jobs also being carried out through different customers.
Just in time, the team pulled through and our reliability was put into practice once again. The new vehicle was ready and waiting at collection point ready to load and go.
Successful Outside
The replacement vehicle was successfully loaded and was ready to transport the goods back to the UK. With delivery time previously being re-scheduled due to the prior difficulties with the vehicle, everything was back in place for the goods to be transported efficiently. The goods arrived back in the UK safely and both parties were happy in the end.
