Same Day Courier in Wales
Dedicated vehicles from Northamptonshire — M1 to the M6 or M5, then west
We run same-day and dedicated transport across Wales from our base at Strixton in Northamptonshire. The route is M1 to the M6 or M5, then west, and it is a long same-day run, best booked early in the day.
Welsh runs are decided by which side of the country you are going to — the north and south are effectively separate journeys.

How a dedicated run works
Your consignment is loaded once and unloaded once. It does not enter a parcel network, it is not sorted at a hub overnight, and it is not split across vehicles. The vehicle is committed to your job alone, so it does not divert to collect anyone else’s freight on the way.
Whichever end of the country the job starts or finishes, you deal with the same office on the same account, and one company stays responsible from booking through to proof of delivery. All work is carried under BIFA Standard Trading Conditions (2025 edition).
Typical work in Wales
- Manufacturing and food production goods
- Energy and utilities equipment
- Agricultural supplies
- Fragile, high-value and security-sensitive consignments
- Temperature-controlled — chilled and ambient
- Two-man deliveries where one driver is not enough
